HELIN catalog

The HELIN Library Consortium is composed of eleven academic libraries and twelve health sciences libraries. The academic libraries are represented by Brown University, Bryant University, the Community College of Rhode Island, the Dominican House of Studies, Johnson & Wales University, Providence College, Rhode Island College, Roger Williams University, Salve Regina University, University of Rhode Island, and Wheaton College. Use the HELIN Catalog to find books and ebooks in the library.

Library Card

Your RIC ID is your library card throughout the HELIN system. You need to set up your card at the Circulation Desk before you can use it. You can get an ID at the Campus Card Office in the Student Union. You can use the card for:

  • In-person borrowing
  • HELIN Loan and In-Rhode Loan requests (average turn-around time is 3 to 5 working days)
  • Access to digital library resources from off campus
      

    Electronic Books Definition

    An e-book is a textual document provided in an electronic environment. E-books typically have in-use features such as search and cross reference functions, hypertext links, bookmarks, annotations, highlights, multimedia objects and interactive tools.
