Gun Control is generally defined as  "government regulation of the manufacture, sale, and possession of  firearms."  Such regulation, and the state and federal laws which surround it, have been hotly debated for years. The tragic shooting of 20 children and 6 adults at the Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, CT on Dec 14, 2012 has returned the nation's focus to this immensely controversial issue.
