The library has several naming opportunities available for donors who wish to make a substantial contribution. For more information, see Give to RIC - Naming Opportunities, or contact the Library Director.
Support the purchase of important journals by making a donation to "adopt" a journal. Adopted journals will contain a note in the online catalog honoring the donor. For more information contact Judith Stokes, Serials Librarian, at 456-8165.
Gifts can be given in honor of, or in memory of, a friend, family member, faculty member, student, or alumnus. Donations of this type can be used to purchase library materials or other items. Gifts may be acknowledged with a bookplate or plaque commemorating the honoree.
For gifts that support collections, the Library's digital bookplating program places a permanent link to each bookplate in the online catalog record for titles acquired through the generosity of the Library's donors.
It's easy to join the Friends! The Friends of the James P. Adams Library membership form is attached below. Just print it, fill it out and send it with your donation to Friends of the James P. Adams Library c/o Library Director's Office.
