The James P. Adams Library is dedicated to providing students and faculty with the information and services necessary to support instruction and learning at Rhode Island College. Your gifts will help to support this mission.
It's easy to become a Friend! The Friends of the James P. Adams Library membership form is attached below. Just print it, fill it out and send it with your donation to Friends of the James P. Adams Library c/o Library Director's Office.
Your membership dues are fully tax-deductible.
Membership donations are used to support library programs and purchases, so become a "Friend" today and support your library! Visit the "Donated by the Friends" page to see examples of the many ways that the Friends supports the James P. Adams Library.
Gifts can be given in honor of, or in memory of, a friend, family member, faculty member, student, or alumnus. Donations of this type can be used to purchase library materials or other items. Gifts may be acknowledged with a bookplate or plaque commemorating the honoree.
For gifts that support collections, the Library's digital bookplating program places a permanent link to each bookplate in the online catalog record for titles acquired through the generosity of the Library's donors.
Adopt a Journal
Support the purchase of important journals by making a donation to "adopt" a journal. Adopted journals will contain a note in the online catalog honoring the donor. For more information contact Judith Stokes, Serials Librarian, at 456-8165.
